THE HUG ROOM · 2026
Created for Hospital of Emotions in Los Angeles, the installation is composed of approximately 80 textile sculptural elements surrounding a hospital bed. Hands and arms become symbolic presences: care, protection, vulnerability, touch and connection.
BIG HUG is conceived as an evolving artistic signature. Future environments may differ in scale, colour, materiality, technology and spatial composition. The Los Angeles configuration remains the first realised work in this corpus and will not be replicated identically.
