Created during an artist residency in China, SOUL TREE extends the reflection begun in NOUS SOMMES VOUS.
White transforms the wood without erasing its grain; gilded extremities mark certain breaks like points of intensity.
The work evokes a shamanic relationship to the forest without illustrating a specific ritual or tradition.
